Let the games begin!

According to the Yarn Harlot official rules, the knitting Olympics will start "today at 2pm, (your local time, wherever you may be) or while you watch the Olympic flame being lit in Torino" so, let's start guys!

I have decided to start while watching the inaugural ceremony tonight, 8 pm Pacific Time, 5 am on Feb 11 in Torino, but who cares? That will be my official starting time.
